Find Your Place at Saint Anselm
Looking to Get More Out of Church? Start by Getting Involved.
Let us know how you'd like to get involved by filling out the Get Involved form or calling the rectory at 978-443-8981. We’d love to hear from you and help you find a meaningful way to serve!
Eucharistic Ministers & Lectors
If you have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and feel called to share your faith in a deeper way, consider becoming a Eucharistic Minister or Lector. These roles offer a powerful opportunity to serve during Mass—either by proclaiming the Word of God or by helping to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ. Training is provided, and all are encouraged to prayerfully consider this meaningful ministry.
Greeters
Be the friendly face that welcomes others to worship. Greeters help set the tone for a joyful and reverent Mass experience by offering a warm welcome at our Saturday 5 PM Indoor Mass and Sunday 11 AM Outdoor Mass.
Outdoor Mass Support
Help make our Outdoor Masses run smoothly by volunteering to assist with setup and breakdown, welcoming arriving parishioners, and directing traffic to ensure a safe and orderly experience for all. This is a great way to serve behind the scenes and support our parish community.
Buildings & Grounds + Adopt-A-Garden
Do you enjoy working with your hands or spending time outdoors? Our Buildings & Grounds and Adopt-A-Garden teams are looking for volunteers to help care for and maintain our parish property. Whether it's watering flowers, planting in the garden, pulling weeds, repairing the outdoor Stations of the Cross, checking emergency systems, or organizing the garage—there’s always something meaningful to do.
These small but essential tasks keep our parish beautiful, safe, and welcoming for all. Your time and talents can make a lasting difference!
Church Environment Ministry
Car Packers & Drivers
Help make a direct impact in our local community by joining our team of Car Packers and Drivers. Volunteers are needed to pack food into cars and deliver it to Daniel’s Table in Framingham. It’s a small time commitment—just a couple of hours every three weeks on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 10 AM and 2 PM—but it makes a big difference in the lives of others.
Food Sorters
Prefer to help behind the scenes? Join our Food Sorting Team. Volunteers are needed on Monday or Tuesday mornings, and each shift takes about an hour. Whether you can help once or more regularly, every effort counts.
Livestream Ministry
Join our Communications Team and help share the Mass with those who can't be with us in person. We're looking for volunteers to livestream the Saturday Vigil Mass and other special services or events. No experience necessary—equipment and training are provided. Just arrive 30 minutes before Mass, and you’re set. You can volunteer regularly or on an as-needed basis. This is a powerful way to support our parish community and extend our reach to those at home.
Social Media & Digital Outreach
Love taking photos, filming short videos, or creating social media content? Your everyday skills could make a big difference. We're looking for help with social media, the parish website, our newsletter, and more. Whether you're tech-savvy or just eager to contribute, we'd love to have you on the team.
Prayer Shawl Ministry – "The Common Threads"
The Common Threads of St. Anselm’s Prayer Shawl Ministry lovingly create prayer shawls, lap robes, and baptismal blankets for those in need of comfort, celebration, or healing—both within our community and beyond. Each item is handcrafted with care, woven with prayers and intention, offering warmth and spiritual support to the recipient.
This ministry is a blessing not only to those who receive these gifts, but also to those who create them. Whether you're an experienced knitter or just learning, you’re welcome to join us. The group meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
