EDUCATION

St. Anselm’s faith formation program offers classes to people of all ages who wish to deepen their understanding of our God and our Catholic Faith. Our programs are rooted in scripture, service, and developing trusting relationships within our community.
Our faith formation classes have been fortunate to create initiatives such as our “H2OPE” effort to bring clean drinking water to Tanzania, and fundraising events to support the United Service Organization. We are extremely proud of all who have participated in our program, and look forward to continuing this dynamic effort and welcoming all who wish to join us.

SACRAMENT PREPARATION

FIRST COMMUNION

The Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life. When we receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, we deepen our communion with God and our fellowship with each another. To prepare for First Communion, your child must be enrolled for 2nd Grade.

RECONCILIATION

The sacrament of Reconciliation is about mercy – the mercy of Jesus Christ. Confessing our sins reconciles us to God and restores us to his grace and deep friendship. Confession breaks the power of shame and the hurt of sin, and restores us within the community of faith. Reconciliation is held every Saturday from 4:15 – 4:45 outside.

CONFIRMATION

In Confirmation we receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and the deepening of baptismal grace, enabling us to grow as mature disciples of Christ. St. Anselm’s confirmation program is a 2-year program, in 9th and 10th grades.

If you are an adult seeking to receive Baptism, First Communion, or thinking about becoming Catholic, please contact us – we would love to welcome you and help you take the next step!

ADULT FAITH FORMATION

Anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of the faith is welcomed & encouraged to participate in one of our learning activities for people of all ages – including online courses, retreats, book clubs, service opportunities, and more. Visit our “Get Involved” page for more information.
